Goal 1 - Strategy support to Regional EDA's
ObjectivesThat 14 from 14 EDAs (either on their own or as part of a regional partnership) are awarded the tender from the business assistance RFP process issued by MED/NZTE.
Measurement
Preparation of key messages and template RFP for regional EDAs in a timely manner.
Goal 2 - Lead debate on strategy/policy in the Economic Development space
Objectives
Demonstrate to central Government the contribution that regional EDAs are making to economic development
Measurement
- Participation in central government policy and strategy meetings.
- Central government policy recognises that EDAs are a primary delivery agent.
- EDAs respond in a timely manner to EDANZ requests.
Goal 3 - EDANZ as a connector
Objectives
- Influence the economic development thinking and policies of external stakeholders
- Demonstrate the improvement to local business that EDA's are making
- Keep the EDA network up to date with opportunities and information.
Measurement
- EDAs receive relevant information in a timely manner.
- Stakeholders are briefed on key initiatives being developed by EDAs.
