This first productivity report shows just some of the work already happening at a regional level and what’s needed to enhance growth – connecting within, between and across regions, sectors, and companies.

New Zealand has abundant natural resources, as well as primary produce. EDAs support business initiatives that are creative and innovative. Science and technology and R&D are important components. For EDAs, the challenge is helping businesses convert IP to GDP.
