Member Economic Development Agencies
Economic Development Agencies (EDAs) are impartial local and regional bodies which each year spend over $70 million on the productive development of New Zealand's economy. This funding is secured through industry initiatives, territorial local authorities and central government projects. EDAs nationally employ over 500 staff dedicated to directly delivering assistance to the frontlines of business in support of national strategies and local needs. Each of the EDAs throughout New Zealand has evolved in response to local needs and resources.
Each of EDANZ members is unique in the activities they engage in and the way in which they add value to the local economy.
