Your situational analysis has provided you with the evidence you need to identify opportunities for best value interventions. The next step in the M and E process is to plan your aims and indicators in consultation with your community and funders. Below are a menu of very practical tools that can assist you in your consultative planning process.

The first three tools will help you build and demonstrate a rationale for intervention and a logic flow that connects your intervention to measurable outputs, impacts and outcomes. This is vital if you are to demonstrate the value of your intervention.
